What is Fleep?

Fleep is an easy-to-use communication tool that helps distributed teams collaborate more effectively. It streamlines task management by allowing you to create, assign, and track task progress, in addition to organized conversations. Fleep also enables you to pin important messages, notes, or files for easy access by everyone. It ensures that no important text goes unnoticed or unnoticed. The benefits of Fleep don’t stop there. File drawers, video conferencing, several third-party integrations, and other features are included. Overall, it enables teams to connect more effectively and collaborate on ideas regardless of their geographical location. Fleep has a strong score of 4.7/5 on Capterra and 4.3/5 on G2, thanks to its open-source communication and seamless file sharing. It’s one of the most flexible and user-friendly tools because it works across multiple teams and organizations and integrates email communications. Fleep tasks are contextual, so you can create and assign them while talking about them in the conversations panel. You can organize them into different sections to better prioritize and manage them. The tasks window in Fleep is a panel on the right-hand side of the tool where you can see all of the tasks for a specific project. It simplifies task management, makes it easier for managers to organize work, and allows each individual to manage their tasks.

Fleep’s conversation-centric tasks, which means users can convert text into tasks while discussing projects in the same conversation window. For example, if person X says, “I’ll take care of the meeting on Friday,” you can right-click on that statement and assign it as a task to that person. You can also use “/task to” to set the task for yourself or another member of your team. It also has a section for individual users called “My tasks.” This allows users to arrange and order their tasks according to their preferences. On the task footer, you can also see the task’s source. Not only that but after the task is completed, all of the participants in the conversation are notified. It’s lightweight and simple to use, thanks to the seamless navigation. Fleep is the only tool that allows you to manage tasks in context. Even though they have similar management tools, other competitive tools like Slack lack this functionality. One of Fleep’s main pillars is its mission. Making a to-do list while brainstorming or debating is a great way to save time. Pinboard is a collaborative digital whiteboard for distributed teams. Users can pin important information, leave notes, create checklists, bookmark important dates, links, files, and more using Pinboard, which is an integral part of Fleep conversations. You can also reorder them to put them in order of importance.

The utility extends beyond simply pinning the necessary information. Pinboards are also useful for lightweight collaboration because they allow you to highlight notes. For example, suppose you’re working on a product. In that case, you can use the Pinboard to pin all of the product specifications that the client has requested. When working remotely, Pinboard maintains collaboration, which benefits the team in various ways. That means you don’t have to go to the trouble of making separate notes when you can pin them while you’re talking. Note-sharing is a breeze thanks to the easy pinning. Although other tools, such as Miro, have mind maps for brainstorming and notes as a feature, they are not contextual. Fleep aims to make our collaborations more intelligent. Its usability has been improved by integrating with the best automation, collaboration, project management, and other tools. It permits us to hold all of our communication in one place. For example, you don’t need to go to your email to send an email; you can send emails directly from Fleep to save time. This is beneficial for people whose clients are primarily email-based. You can use Fleep as a centralized channel for all your correspondence because it is an open-source communication tool. These integrations will benefit those who have just started using Fleep or who will do so in the future. Fleep has some impressive integrations, such as IFTTT (If this, then that). It receives reminders from other apps such as Evernote, the weather forecast, Trello, and even your Fleep-customized dates. It helped us stay on track with project deadlines, further important details, and even the birthdays of each team member! Fleep has also integrated several other tools, including Slack, Zapier, OneDrive, Trello, etc.
