Google Calendar Review
What is Google Calendar?
Google Calendar is a web-based, collaborative time-management and scheduling calendar service that allows users to create, edit and share calendars and schedules. It became available in beta release April 13, 2006, and in general release in July 2009, on the web and as mobile apps for the Android and iOS platforms. It is one of the most popular free calendars available and can be used on the web and synced with any Google device. The intuitive interface allows you to view your daily, weekly, or monthly schedules all at once or quickly toggle between them with a double-click.
Users can access and manage other calendars on the internet for free, including Google’s iCalendar or Microsoft Exchange services. The site has an infinite scroll design, scrolling horizontally across the page, though it does not offer unlimited months like some other calendar services. Events do not have to be reoccurring after initial creation, but users can change them to recur every year or month. Google Calendar is free time management and scheduling application. Available as both a website and multiple mobile applications, Google Calendar allows users to create and edit events and share calendars with other users. You can also create events and occasions, accept invitations and make plans. Google Calendar can help you organize your private life, work schedule and enables you to keep track of life’s important events all in one place.
Interestingly Google Calendar has many features that make managing your time more intuitive and visual. You can apply colors to events, and the calendar can alert you 10 minutes before each event is scheduled to begin. You can even synchronize with your phone, so you’ll never have to miss an appointment, view your events in different ways, and collaborate with other people in shared calendars. Google Calendar works on the web, Android and iOS. It automatically syncs with Google Contacts and Google Mail, so adding events to your calendar is as simple as adding an email or contact, checking off all the tasks you’ve done today, and setting reminders for upcoming events. Plus, there are tons of automatically created calendars to keep track of birthdays, holidays and more.
Trust Google Calendar to help you get a more organized life. Now featuring 15 GB of storage space and robust mobile apps, it lets you log events on the go, plan, and stay up-to-date. Add events from any computer and update them from your phone in real-time for a seamless experience. Sync your schedule with Google Calendar to manage your priorities, add events and manage your time all on the go. Today’s busy schedule makes it difficult to remember all the little details, like birthdays and anniversaries. Whether keeping track of a busy family or organizing a business trip, Google Calendar is the easiest way to organize your life. The next time you’re planning a trip, select your itinerary dates, and Google Calendar will provide a list of suggested destinations. Then explore the destinations you find by clicking through to photos, travel notes, and destination highlights. Your calendar syncs automatically with Gmail, so all your trip info is instantly available on your phone, tablet or computer. And since your events are stored in the cloud, they’re accessible anywhere you are. It’s the weather in the palm of your hand.
