Monday vs Trello
If you are familiar with work management apps,  you’ve probably heard of Monday and Trello. They are both popular project management software solutions. They are easy to use, visually appealing, customizable, and are making project management a fun activity.
But which one are you going to choose? It’s a tough choice. So, let’s compare Monday and Trello to see which one is better?

Monday vs Trello: Pricing and Features

One thing is sure, Trello is less expensive than Monday. It also has a free forever plan while Monday offers a 14-day free trial. On the other hand, Trello’s free plan has more limitations, and even paid plans depend heavily on integrations. Generally speaking, Monday includes more native functionality than Trello.
You should know that Monday’s pricing scheme varies by plan and by the number of users. Sometimes it can seem a bit complicated. Trello is more reasonable when it comes to prices, even tough Monday offers discounts for nonprofits and educational institutions.

Data Fields and Templates

They can both offer a wide variety of templates. You can find everything you need from family vacations to agile processes.
Monday also offers templates designed by users that you can download and adapt. Trello has some excellent templates as well, many of which are user-made. Trello has a card-based system, in which you can create columns as lanes or groupings, and use colors and images to provide visual cues. Trello has an advantage over Monday in one thing: you can add subtasks and checklists to cards.

Integrations

When it comes to integrations, they are a focus for Monday. It offers more than 20 integrations, such as File Management like One Drive, Dropbox, Google docs, Bug tracking and IT like GitLab and BitBucket, other project management tools like Todoist, Trello, Basecamp, Ecocommerce like WhooCommerce and Shopify, Customer relationship management like Copper, SalesForce and Zandesk,  communications such as Slack, Outlook and Microsoft teams, etc.
Unlike, Monday, Trello depends heavily on Power-ups for functions. Even though it offers over a hundred of integrations, Microsoft products such as Outlook, or ecommerce software such as Shopify are not one of them.

Ease of Use

Trello is easier to master than Monday, but that’s because it doesn’t have as many fields and customization options as Monday does. Sometimes Monday can seem a bit overwhelming until you get used to it, but all the information is right there.

Mobile App

Monday’s app works on Android and iOS but doesn’t have as much flexibility as its desktop system. But, you can customize your boards and even subscribe to a new one.
Trello’s mobile apps have more functionality than Monday’s. They allow you to create lists, boards, and cards.
We can conclude that both are some of the best project management software tools. They are both user friendly and offer great features for task management. No matter which one you choose, you are not going to regret your choice!
